Biography: Being from a small coal-miner community in Tamaqua, Dan Silkowski has none little in the way of “How to be a MMA fighter” yet his 40-0 record in his amateur career begs the question, why should that matter.  When one views his extensive use of the rubber guard, one would assume years of tactical training under names like Gracie or Bravo, yet Silkowski explains he had little in the way of official training.“Most of my training came from videos and wrestling with my brothers.” Dan says.  Entering Fight Force in its early stages, Silkowski is aware of particular advantages. “It will help me gain composure in the cage.” Dan says, adding “That is what I need most.”
