Droges

Droges

Fight Force 18 was an action packed card. Even though the main event of Brandon Silkowski vs Craig Zukauskas for the WW belt never went down this card was still one of the best FF cards to date. Heavy hitting, crisp striking and smooth ground games backed up with submissions; fans were very satisfied even if the beer did cost 15$.

Lightweight Matchup
Dan Silkowski vs Vinny Castro
Winner: Silkowski wins Via Submission (Americana) Rd.1 (4:00)

Fan Favorites go head to head to see who was going to get a step closer to the Fight Force LW champion belt. Castro comes out and lands some crisp striking to keep Silkowski on his bike. After the flying knee though, Silkowski wants no more of the stand up and takes Castro down twice. The second time Castro wasn't able to get it back to the feet and Silkowski does what the Silkowski's brothers do best, he lays a hurtin on Castro's ribs. Castro then didn't even see the americana coming. Silkowski secures it, end of story.

Dan 3-2
Vinny 1-1

Light Heavyweight Matchup
Lucius Graves vs Jorge Castro
Winner: Graves wins Via TKO Rd.1 (4:40)

The fans were in for a treat with this fight, a fight for the books says some. Two top contenders sqaured off and one was victorious. Graves stuck to Castro like glue in the early part of the round and worked him on the ground. When he let Castro get distance on him, Graves thanks was getting rocked mulple times with head kicks and flying knees. Graves having a strong wrestling background decides thats enough and takes it to the ground and works some ground and pound.. . that is until he lets up Castro. Surprisingly, Graves then proceeds to give Castro a taste of his own medicine. Graves rocks Castro and drops him two more times with brutal striking in short time at that. He then knocks down Castro a third time with only seconds to spar in the first. Graves lays out the punishment and finishes Castro off in devasting fashion.

3-0 for Graves and has firmly placed himself as the LHW to beat if you want a chance at the belt.
Castro 5-5 suffers a second lost to Graves and people wonder if Graves has his number.
Media and fans where suprised this wasn't fight of the night.

Middleweight Matchup
Derek Davis vs Nelson Pinto
Winner: Davis wins via Submission (Triangle) Rd.1 (3:01) SOTN

These guys came out and threw strikes with bad intentions. A very fast paced striking war that ended up going to the ground after Derek Davis threw a hook that dropped Pinto. There, Davis kept the advantage. He softened up Pinto for a triangle choke. He locked it in and forced Pinto to tap.

Derek wins an impressive debut.
Pinto still trying to capture a win.

Heavyweight Matchup
Napoleon Norton vs Hector Martinez
Winner: Martinez wins Via Submission (Arm Triangle) Rd.1 (1:10) FOTN

Wow, this fight was over before it started. Some brief striking where Martinez then proceeds to take Norton down. Norton falls into his guard and Martinez like an anconda locks in a choke to stop Norton in his tracks.

0-4 Noeron
Martinez 3-1

Other News:
Fans wondered what happend to the Fight Force WW belt that Brandon Silkowski was to put on the line against Craig Zukauskas. Unfortunately for them, they will still wonder as the main card never went down and Zukauskas' Management still never commented on what happen to him on that night. Needless to say Ele25, president of FF was slightly distraught regarding the situation.

Brandon Silkowski remains undefeated at 4-0 and still holds the FF WW belt.
