UFC 3 DLC details

http://www.joystiq.com/2012/02/02/ufc-undisputed-3s-season-pass-bundles-fighters-fights/

the $3 "Create-a-Fighter Boost," which gives you extra points for your custom fighter

http://electronictheatre.co.uk/xbox360/xbox360-news/15661/ufc-undisputed-3-dlc-season-pass-program-revealed

Create a fighter Boost: Enabling players to acquire additional points for created fighter development and save an estimated 8-10 hours of gameplay.

I was ok with boost dlc if all it did was level you up quicker (IE time=money, you either spend the time to level up your guy or spend $3 to have him half way leveled up for you). What worries me are the words EXTRA and ADDITIONAL.

Does that mean the CAF boost are basically PEDS for my fighter?

If you do get more points then just normally going through a career, that means that just to be competitive online you have to buy the boost. I'm also wondering if you have to buy this again for every fighter you make or if it's buy and forget. I was considering getting the boost anyways since if I made 10 CAFs this would cut down on 100 hours of going through the career but now it feels like everyone is forced to.

We might have to ban the boost but the thing is I don't know how we could even check if someone was using a booster on their CAF or even worse, if people who bought the boost couldn't turn it off.

Can someone who has an account on THQ's forums copy and paste the gist of this post cause this seems like an obvious balance issue and another way for THQ to nickel and dime us.

Nevermind, I broke down and registered on THQ forums just to see what the deal was with this

There goes my new years resolution of not getting involved in official game forums.

1st off, whats up with all these games and their season passes? Like seriously homie? Kinda getting tired of that B.S. but it does offer a lower price, still...

2ndly it does sound like there will be an additional point set added...We'll have to monitor and see what is said.

CAF mode Questions link

^^^^^^^
This thread seems to be more active but here's some things I found out.

-40 CAF limit, so if you want more then just make another gamertag and save CAFs to that one. This is of course if you have the harddrive space to spare.

-Heavyweights can be 210-265 now

There's also a video of Career Mode

CAF creation link

This will probably get taken down after the weekend *warning* The guy in the video is REALLY bad at the game plus he's no where near as funny as he thinks *warning*.

Yea, he's totally not funny lol He even admits he doesn't know anything about UFC outside of Brock. Still gives you an in depth look at career. Watching Events is in Smile
