"Good day everyone. As you may have heard that my last fight was my last in MMA. This is true. As much as I would like to have ended on a win. I can not make a deal for a 1 fight return. So Today I announce my official retirement from MMA. This was a hard decision but I feel like it is the best for me. I will still like to be part of Team Wasp Nest as a coach and or Trainer. And I will still be part of my brother and I gym, MMAts (Mats). Doug would love to say that he forced my and retirement but you can read all of Ele25s reports my plan has been to retire way before this fight was even created. It is my time to go. I will still be part of OMMA. For what I will be doing with my time not training for fights. I decided to take a High School football team HC position as that has always been one of my dreams as well working with Ele25's OMMA Live. I want to thank all my Fans, teammates for the amazing support and I will continue to be there for them. Thank you all. And have a great day."

Silowski had a record of 2-2. He was a competive fighter that openly told you he was going to take you down and then would do it.

Dan will be missed in the ranks of fighters in OMMA but no one would be surprise if he pulls a randy couture a few more times with guest appearances. Fans remain hopeful that this isn't the last they see him.
