Diaz didnt step aside for Condit either. 
GSP's injury is really what made this possible. I'm wondering if GSP claimed the injury so he could wait and see if Diaz won then ask Dana for the fight. 
Condit is a good fighter but Diaz is a better win for GSP's legacy.
