Fight Force 20 was a great night of fights that commenced just last Friday, including a LHW title fight and a lot of debuts for new fighters.

Kody Downs v. Clive Larson:

This was Downs' debut, and Larson was coming in hot off a win over fellow FF WW Marco Cloud. The first round of action in this undercard fight seemed to lean in Larson's favor, taking a few dominant positions and arguably out-striking Downs. Downs was hurt at one point, but recovered nicely. The next round turned it all around as Downs knocked out Larson out of what seemed like nowhere! He was later awarded the Knockout of the Night honors.

Vic Stone vs Michael Ortiz:

This was both fighters debut and they battled. This fight was back and forth until Ortiz rocked Stone but the fighters scrambled back to their feet, and the brawl continued ending up with Stone being rocked again, and they stood again and battled again! Stone fell again, but this time he didn't get back up in this Fight of the Night.

Hermes Kinsler v. Paulo Savalas

Kinsler was looking to make his FF debut and Savalas was riding a 3 fight win streak coming into this fight.

The fight was essentially all Savalas, who, despite dominating the first round, could not finish. He fought hard the second round and despite some good defense by Kinsler the lights went out from the punishment he took in this two round brawl.

Pete Paterno v. Kevin Knight

Paterno came into the bout 1-0 and it was Kevin Knight's debut

The fight started even, with Paterno landing some good shots and Kevin Knight landing a nice counter, but all went awry when Knight went for a double leg takedown that Paterno sprawled and capitialized on, leading to an impressive KO victory from mount.

LHW title fight: Rich Hamilton v Lucius Graves

Rich Hamilton, the title holder, was riding a 3 fight win streak when he got his shot, and then picked up his fourth when he grabbed ahold of the belt.

Lucius Graves was looking to duplicate that, with his own 3 fight win streak all coming by way of (T)KO and his title shot in place.

The fight was set at a nice pace , but after a nice take down by Graves, a failed transition to sweep lead the fight back to the feet. A failed takedown by Graves allowed Hamilton to sprawl and he proved why he is champion by taking back side control, dominating the pace, making Graves eat shots from all over and taking back mount. A few more shots allowed Hamilton to attempt a rear naked choke and he locked in perfectly in an amazing display of BJJ.

The submission earned him the Submission of the Night award, and was the only submission on the card.

Hamilton is now on a 5 fight win streak and has defended the belt once, and Graves looks to rebound back to a win streak.
