OMMA GrandPrix tourament1 in the WW has had mix ups and confusion due to BHA possibley pulling out of the league. This effects WW tournyment directly becasue Gonzo Miller was to fight Ryan Murray.
Ryan Murray orginally was going to get a pass to the finals but not to give him the easy road, Paulo Pavlinsky stepped up to the plate and was going to fill in for Gonzo Miller. However things appeared to have changed and Gonzo Miller could be remaining in OMMA which includes the tournament.
iOMMA caught up with Paulo Pavlinsky to see what his thoughts were of possibley getting bump out of the tournament.
iOMMA: "Paulo Pavlinsky, you were rumoured to be a last minute fill in for Ryan Murray in the WW Tournament1 but it appears that Gonzo Miller will remain in OMMA after all. This must be frustrating for you because you are always training and ready to fight and now it looks like you are pushed back to the bench?"
You actually requested this interview so whats on your mind about this new update about Gonzo Miller coming back?"
Pavlinsky: "Well my friend, the statement is false tournament organiser Ele has told me that I will still be fighting Ryan Murray no doubt about it. I requested just to let Ryan Murray know that this won't be a walk about, so train and give me a good fight Murray.. Murray won his fights by submission which I ain't so good at so my game plan is no ground work at all. Anyway back on topic Gonzo Miller is a great fighter in the OMMA society. I'm glad to see him back, but I believe he is disqualified from this tournament. He is one in the future to train and fight against with respect."
iOMMA: "So Miller is out forsure. Thats good to know. Okay, lets talk how Ryan Murray has been pretty quiet about this ordeal. It must be tough on him not knowing who he is fighting, what are your thoughts?"
Pavlinsky: "Well to be honest my friend, Ryan has been told who he is fighting has he has been told to contact me about this fight if he doesn't then ye'know it'll be a hugh let down for me has I don't want to fight another fill-in and be un-prepared like the last time when I was ament to fight Cesar Azeveda but he wouldn't contact me. But Ryan seems like a good lad, I speak to his agent sometimes so it's 99% percent chance this fight is on just don't know when or what time."
iOMMA: "Do you have anything to say about the BHA drama or anything to add about your next opponent which appears to be Ryan Miller besides that he best bring his "A" game? "
Pavlinsky: "I don't have anything to say really because it was Gonzo's fault, not any tournament organisers fault. Ryan Murray, he best bring his "A" game because I'm training with the best now for this fight.. My movement has gotten better, ground work is better, striking is faster along with combinations. Murray will feel the pain of my spinning backfist oh trust me it will hurt."
