As you may or may not have noticed there has been a few additions to OMMA's selection of great fighting leagues to particapate in. Besides the addition of 2 new UFC3 leagues OMMA has aquired the partnership of another EA MMA league titled World Fighting Championship.
WFC is a well run league full of top fighters. With the decline of the online player count for this game and the likely abandonment by even more when UFC3 is released it only makes sense to combine the current groups that are still playing into one league. It will create alot of new and interesting matchups which breathes some fresh air back into the online league community. It also means once less league for me to have to keep up with.
Basically, the WFC will take the place of the UC as far as EAMMA leagues and the UC will be a UFC3 league. All current UC fighters will be absorbed into the WFC roster. I mean "fighters" as in the gamertags not the characters. This means you no longer fight in 3 weightclasses with 3 different characters. You must choose 1 weight to fight in. The champs of each league will fight to unify the WFC and UC belts with the winner becoming the WFC champion. The rankings will then be merged together and arranged according to the level of your oponents.
