The USA have banned the game from US Military bases and Gamestop stores. Seriously, they take games more seriously than gamers. It's a bloody game.

Yea, i caught wind of the US ban a few days ago. I understand some people may be sensitive to it, but like you said it is in fact just a game. Those aren't the likeness of any war heroes etc. I think its just crazy, look at COD's controversial Russian airport scene. They didn't go crazy over that, 'cept in russia. People these days..

I know, in all honesty, if they made a game where the characters went through my home town and killed all innoccents, I would be sitting there with my metal music on, Devil horns in the air, walking slowly like a badass mowing down my town. It's a game.

Apparently Online one side play is talibans and the other side is Marines. A woman in USA had her son killed by a taliban in Afghanistan or some shit and she found the game horrible and disgusting and went on the news and basically she is an attention whore.

Yea, as M V P stated, the game pitts US Marines vs. Taliban in Afghanistan and people are complaining that they shouldn't go there since the war is still being fought. Pretty much why the company that was producing The Fall Of Fallujah went bankrupt i believe? They were in the final development stages and the game was looking pretty good but people raised hell because it was a war that Americans lost a lot of soldiers. I think Nancy Grace even got her grips on it and the studio had to stop production never seeing any profit etc. for their work.

Medal of Honor hasn't been released yet, but Several countries are trying to ban it and the US has already removed it from being shipped to Military bases and stores and Gamestop's near military areas.

My problem is this, Call of duty has us playing as insurgents!! No one even mentioned it. In the older Call of duties they re-enacted what has to be the most horrific set of world wars ever! But once again no one said anything. Oh well , i respect people's opinions either way.
