Hi guys, most of you guys know me. For those of you that don't, I'm Jared. I was recently named the President of the UFC3 league "Ultimate Combat"
So, just a small amount about me. I'm pretty laid-back and I used to write articles for the site. I'm really into MMA. I'm chill to talk to on Xbox Live and I'm pretty good at UFC 2010. My favorite fighter is Anderson Silva, and I've been on this site since... May of 2011. So basically 7 months.
Like I said, I was recently named the President of UC. I would like to first personally thank Wilson for picking me. He knew I wanted this job and I got it. I appreciate all the hard work he does for the community and I'm glad to help. I want to tell you guys how I plan to run the league. Since I am the President, I want you guys to know that I plan to take on a Dana White-like role in the community. I want to get out of the way right now that I am your boss (well, your fighters boss). Lying about results, disconnecting, lagswitching, glitching/cheating in ANY way will get you disciplined accordingly based on circumstances and evidence.
With that out of the way, I just want to tell you guys how I plan to run the league. Of course, it will be ran just like the EA MMA Leagues, but I plan to put my own personal 'spin' on the league. What I plan to do is exactly what Dana White does: Conduct interviews (Pre/Post-Fight), post articles, articulate unofficial P4P rankings, hype fights, make all match-ups (that make sense), discuss my thoughts on the league, promote activeness, distribute the nightly awards [(T)KO of the night, Submission of the Night, and Fight of the Night] as well as post polls for Monthly and possibly Yearly awards and reward sportsmanship.
Title fights will likely start around the 6th event.
With all that junk said, I'm glad to be the president. I hope you guys will find the league both fun and entertaining and that you might participate in some of the 'role playing'. I would like to point out that most of my posts from here on out will be from a Dana perspective. None of the role playing is to be taken seriously and it's all in good fun (I.E. don't take it too far. Keep it between the CAFs, not the people controlling them).
