Pride Tournament MW

Wonder what would happen if today current best vs. the Pride best. Or do you believe that those who find success in the UFC wouldn't last long under the Pride rules? Would GSPs Lay n Pray style play against him? Lets find out in this 16 fighter tournament filled with some great fighters and the worlds best athletes. Whos going to take it? What fight will make us go in awww? Will their be the Super fight of GSP vs Silva or Silva vs Jones. Or will we get another Super fight we never imagined? Only time will tell. Lets get this started!

Tournament Winner Prediction: Anderson Silva

Fighters Touch gloves out of respect. Anderson is trying to find his range with a few quick Jabs. Munoz shoots, gets stuffed by Anderson. Anderson Stands throws a few more Jabs trying to find his range again. Mark shoots again, Anderson Sprawls and throws some knees to the head of Munoz. Anderson gets up and finds his range. Munoz shoots again and Silva sprawls and throws an Uppercut knocking Munoz over! Munoz gets up a shoots again, Silva sprawls. Munoz seems to not be able to secure a TD. Anderson is now finding his range. Picking apart Munoz and he lands a nice RHK and stumbles Munoz for a quick second. Munoz get back up and shoots gets his first TD.It was times well dodge a Silva's Right Hook. Mark gets the side mount quickly and lands some heavy strikes cutting Silva in the process. Silva gets to open guard and uses the ropes to stand up. But Munoz uses the cage again to gets another TD but does nothing with it as Silva gets up quickly and pushes away. Munoz counter Silva and knocks him down gets open guard but get reversed quickly by Silva. Silva moves to side mount and starts landing some heavy blows. Fighters roll around abit. Eventually both fighters are standing. Munoz shoots by Silva sprawls again and throws another nasty upper cut at the end of the round knocking Munoz Down.

Silva is all messed up from those strikes from the GnP earlier by Munoz. His left eye swollen and a cut underneath it.

A Close Rd. but I just feel Silva did more than Munoz. Very Close a 10-9 rd IMO.
Rd.2
Fighter walk to each other. Munoz starts swinging BAM BAM BAM! Munoz landing some heavy blows. Silva eventually counters one of Munoz hooks and knocks him down. Silva signals for him to stand up. Munoz then shoots gets the TD but Silva quickly reverses and gets into Munoz Guard. He throws some Heavy strikes at Munoz alll landing. Silva then gets up. He wants no part of the ground game. Silva begins to find his range again picking apart Munoz. But Munoz lands a heavy hook and rocks Silva. Silva recovers quickly.But gets Taken down by Munoz. Munouz works some light GnP but eventually he get kicked off. Munoz then counters Silva knocks down Silva and goes for the facestomp. He rocks silva and start throwing down but Silva works to get half gaurd. Munoz works to get the mount. He rocks Silva, Silva isn't doing anything. Munoz is going all Donkey Kong on Silva and BAM Silva is Knocked Out. Munoz wins!
What an Upset from the start. A sign of things to come?

The brothers quickly show respect to one another and touch gloves as well as hug(added that). Shogun quickly goes big with a flying knee but just grazes Ninja. Ninja goes for a a body kick lands but Shogun catches it and trips Ninja. Shogun lets his brother stand. Ninja quickly then secures a TD. And gets mount almost instantly off his brother. He postures up and rocks Shogun. Then quickly goes for the Armbar. Shogun is trying to fight it off but he is to dazed to do anything. Ninja eventually secures the armbar. Shogun taps. Another upset happening in the very early rounds of the this tournament.

Accidentally simulated this fight and didn't watch it.

Jones wins via KO Rd.1 9:49

All I can say from the damage report is Jones destroyed Gono.

Fighters touch gloves. Hendo goes for the TD right but Shields side steps then soccer kicks Hendo in the face. Shields goes in and both fighters roll on the ground for a bit. Hendo eventually fells like this is a waste of time and stands up from the open guard. Shields wants to stay down, so Hendo goes and face stomps Shields. Shields gets up quickly after that. He doesn't want that again. Hendo gets the double under but Shields pummels and then shoots, gets a nice double leg. Dan and Jake are reverse each other like crazy. Such a great showing of grappling. Young fighters should take notes here. Hendo eventualy uses the ropes and gets up. Then quickly secures the double unders and goes for a hip toss. Doesn't work, Hendo works some more then gets the hip toss. Hendo goes for the North South postion and lands some knee to the Head of Jake. He rocks Shields. Shields looks he recovers but then another nasty bomb by Hendo rocking shields again. Shields eventually secures the open guard and secures a triangle but Hendo escapes. Hendo lands some heavy blows. Shields goes for a triangle. A better attempt this time but Hendo escapes. The fighters stay on the ground Hendo taking the slight advantage here. Always a step ahead of Shields now. Eventually the fighters stand up but Hendo quickly Suplexes Shields and lands some more knees from the North South position. Fighters then stand up again. And Hendo then begins to Dominate Shields. Picking apart Shields. Then BAM. The H Bomb lands. Shields goes stiff.

Hendo wins Via KO Rd.1 9:00

Shield doesnt get up for quite sometime. They quickly take him to the hospital. Shields has a fractured Orbital Bone as well as sustained a serious Concussion. From the H Bomb.

Ugh well thats a fail. Never mind guys. After getting past the first rd. of Fight the game simulated the rest. Murilo Ninja wins it. Gay. . And Im to lazy to set up another.
