Cathcart decided to mix things up and drop a weight class. Cathcart had a record of 3-1 at the heavyweight division with his last fight being a win that avenged his only loss. When asked by a reporter about his change in weight class he replied
"I feel my boxing is alot sharper, I'm alot quicker and plus I want to end Jones' unbeaten streak and take his title. I also want to let everyone know that Ninja Stars are taking over."
The future looks bright for Stuart Cathcart.
