why is fedor not on the P4P List? He has 2 losses and a nc. even wth the nc thats still less then the amount of losses anderson has. sure he just lost to werdum but hes still the best in my book

1st, its just a placeholder to give and idea of what the homepage will contain when the league starts. The list will be replaced with CAFs when events start.
2nd, P4P is really just an opinion but its basis is along the lines of "what have you done for me lately and against who". P4P doesnt go by your overall career or record and isnt a GOAT rankings. What you done 5+ years ago doesnt matter. Its all about "recent" acomplishments. Anderson, is currently on a 13 fight win streak. 10 of which were either a #1 contender, champ or x champ. Nobody has been in more title fights lately than Anderson.
3rd, Fedor lost to a lower ranked HW. You cant stay at #1 after a loss especially when that opponent was a lower ranked opponent who beat you in 69 seconds. Also, there are no HWs on the list. If the #1 HW isnt on the list then why should Fedor?

Fedor is good and whatever, but he hasn't really fought anyone that great lately. Not to mention, like Killa said, losing to a C-class MMA fighter kinda tarnishes your p4p ranking.

yea i guess i understand. but when it comes time when anderson and fedor are both retired im sayin fedor on top. unless he starts losing a bunch his record and how dominate he was is just amazing. im not sayin anderson isn't great i just think overall fedor is the g.o.a.t.

If Fedor wants to be considered the GOAT, he needs to sacrifice M1-Global and sign with the UFC to fight top contenders. He isn't fighting anyone really all that relevant in Strikeforce. Until then, Anderson Silva and George St Pierre are going to be considered the GOAT's for right now.

he doesn't have to get in the ufc. he had a 10 year winning streak. for anderson to beat that hed have to not lose for another 6 years. fedor fought some of the best hw's of all time in pride and if he would come to the ufc he would run all over lesnar and prolly everyone else in the division

It's possibly true. But until he steps up and actually signs with the UFC, he's just another Pride fighter. Look at what's happened to all the Pride fighters that have signed with the UFC.
Cro Cop is almost about to retire because he's been doing so bad.
Nogeria has been having a hard time.
Rampage is still... well... rampage.
Wanderlei Silva isn't doing to great right now.
The only one to benefit so far is Anderson. If everyone wants to say that Fedor is p4p number one, he needs to stop fighting these low level fighters and fight top competition in the UFC. Plain and simple.

I think for him to gain any relevance on the P4P rankings he will have to do something to make people satisfied. I'm not saying he has to join up on the UFC roster, but he has to stop fighting cans and/or people M-1 pick for him. The only fight I see doing so at this current time is Overeem. From my understanding Alistair has said after K-1 he wants Fedor so finally they are consenting for a fight, but after that (assuming he wins) he has to start fighting higher competition. He should be in the top 15, but not the top 10 ATM in my opinion. It's all about the politics, if you do for those who reign above you shall get what you seek

Right, Shogun has done good. He got choked out by Forrest his first fight for the UFC. Forrest was supposed to be a sacrificial lamb for that fight. After that he went on a two fight winning streak, beating a has-been Mark Coleman, and pillow chin Chuck Liddell. From there he went to fight for the title and lost, fought again and finally won. In all honesty, he has done moderate at best. He's won 3 out of 5 UFC fights. That's mediocre.
Now don't get me wrong. Shogun is a great fighter. But the only impressive thing he has done is KO Lyoto. And I've said since Lyotos fight against Rashad, all a fighter would have to do is time a leg kick in the direction that Lyoto moves, because he always moved to his left. Simple math. And now shogun is out until probably this time next year due to surgeries and recovering.
As for Hendo, he was a good fighter in pride, but he was an embarrassment in the UFC. The guy comes over and his first fight is with Rampage for the Light Heavyweight Title and loses. His second fight is with Anderson Silva for the Middleweight title and gets choked out. You can't tell me he's done okay. That's pretty bad that other than Sonnen, Henderson was Silva's toughest threat, and Silva beat him without to much of a problem. Henderson's biggest achievement was that wicked knockout over Bisping after the ultimate fighter.
I'm not trying to put you down or be a dick or anything, but Pride guys, other than Silva, haven't really done a whole lot.

i get what your sayin. i wouldn't say mediocre when describing shogun tho. yea the forest fight was bad but he came out and hurt lyoto when no one else could even touch him as for coleman and chuck yea their both out of there prime. idk how to explain the pride guys not dominating besides no headstomps and soccer kicks maybe. lol
