UPDATE: THIS RULE IS NO LONGER IN EFFECT!

A couple of rules have been decided upon by the staff an implimented.  These rules are not permanent and will be lifted once they are addressed in a patch.  The rules are...

1)  You cannot use the clinch to finish off a rocked opponent.  You are free to clinch an UNrocked opponent,  build up head damage THEN cause a knockout though.

~ If you clinch after a rock then strike but it doesn't cause a knockout then you must let go of your opponent immediately, back up to the opposite side of the octagon then continue.  If you do it again you must let them go again and you will lose a point for that round.

2)  You cannot use the normal straight punches from full mount. They are almost too fast to armtrap and also have stopping power like the power strikes so they are overpowered at the moment.  Please use the other strikes (hooks,  hammers and elbows).

~ If you use a straight punch in mount you forfeit the position and must let your opponent up.  Back up to the opposite side of the octagon then continue.  If you do it again you must let them up again and you will lose a point for that round.

If you cause a knockout with either of the above you will be disqualified.  These rules will remain in effect until they are patched by EA.  Please keep it clean fellas.  We do not want to DQ anyone.  We want all fights settled in the cage by you guys. Thank you.
