Starting with Tiger woods golf, you can no longer buy used games and expect to use them with online modes. You will have to pay 10 dollars for a code to access all online modes. Straight stupid

I wont be buying EA games if they do this with NHL and NFL..

Bad Idea EA will loss a lot of customers. But I understand where they are coming from I'm sure they loss a lot of money when it comes to used games but the way I see it is they made thier money off of the first sale and anything else is greed.

I understand the concept , but damn EA not everyone is made of money, they just assume the die hards will pay for it but prob not taking into consideration the players who like to play for fun and not have to pay extra...

Yea i understand why they doing that too but man...kinda harsh. I usually buy them right out the gate but i know money tight so it may not play out that way

No matter there reason for doing this its still a bad idea and they better think about it before thay do it, Gamestop will loss a lot of money if they do it and gamestop makes them a lot of money.

yea i have both systems so i thought i'd play ps3 forever free lol but i felt they were bringing paid subscriptions and i heard the rumor was confirmed a lil while ago, not sure source wise but i will try to find one

Meh I sold my ps3. i will never argue it is a better machine than 360 but i prefer 360s features and games. my ps3 ended up collecting dust

This is a black day for gaming. If other publishers decide to follow EAs lead, it could mean the end of the second hand games market as we know it.

Why are EA doing this though? FNR3 and FIFA were their only good games IMO. Madden and FIFA then got boring as every game is the same

They CAN charge but they can have a free basic account because a selling point was FREE online so they can't go on their word and charge. So yes they probalywill charge but online will be FREE

i think its stupid. video games already cost 65$. why do they need more money. there is no need for edge cards cause your not going to get used and online cause that will cost more like 70$ i guess ill just start pre ordering
