Since the game will be similar we are allowing you guys to cross your fighters over if you choose.  Basically you are just picking up their careers where they left off in EA MMA.  In other words the rankings,  records,  etc will all remain as is and just continue with the new game.  This means if you want to use a past fighter and he has a horrible record you must keep it.  We're not resetting records because all of your fighter's statistics are deeply rooted into the record books.  Resetting would deminish the history we as well as the fighters have built here.

You are not forced to keep your old fighters.  You may retire them and register new ones if you want.  Please post their retirement in this thread.  Either way we'd like you to register your fighters asap.  The old registrations have been deleted so if you are continuing a past fighter's career then please register him into his weightclass again.

We highly encourage the champions to continue their careers.  This means your first fight back will be a title defense.  You do not have to defend your belt immediately.  We will allow you time to learn the game but you must let us know asap if you plan to continue as champion.  If a champion doesn't verify that he wants to continue we will let the top two contenders fight for an interim belt.  Once an interim champion defends his belt he will become the official champion and the former champion will be dropped to #1 contender. Fights for the vacant belts will start sometime after a month from release (as soon as two clear contenders emerge).
