I know this thread might be a little early but I figure why not throw it out there.

It seems that most online leagues try to start out big with all weight classes, multiple orgs, among other things but then they slowly dwindle down into a couple orgs with very incomplete weight classes. I think the best thing to do would be to lay it out like this (again, my opinion):

1 organization with 3 weight classes:
Heavyweight
Middleweight
Lightweight

Lower tier cards would be held one week while the higher tiered cards would be held the next. The higher tiered ones would get much more promotion (especially the main card). This would make for much better fights since you get to train for 2 weeks instead of 1 week as well. Like I said, most of this is based off of Quality over quantity and the league could always have more weight classes and more cards more often added later. Lmk what you think!

Never liked this idea and I'm glad we dont use it. When other leagues open all the weightclasses the talent is spread out bcuz ppl can only pick one weightclass. This site is different in that you are allowed to have multiple fighters in each league. This not only helps to fill each weightclass but also ensures we have fights each week bcuz there is always a fill in when someone doesnt show. We were able to throw more events with EAMMA than any other league this way. Wink

What if you were allowed to make actual openweight fights (here me out). So it basically functioned like Pride in the since that
HW 205<
MW 205> <170
LW 170>

I'm not trying to be a Pride nuthugger, but this would be pretty cool. The HW division is known for having interesting fights not only in skill diversity, but also in weight diversity.
