Las Vegas, NV (USA) – In a media conference call today, OnlineMMA President Wilson Fisk announced that Fight Force and the Japanese organization Bushido will be adding a featherweight (145lbs.) division.
“It's been talked about for a long time, but its finally going to happen. As OMMA continues to evolve and grow, we want to be able to give guys fights in every weight division,” said Fisk. “This is a big day for the sport and the athletes who will have the opportunity to fight in a weight they are more comfortable at".
The two new divisions will feature some good talent and definately bring some fast pace action to the fans. No date is set yet as the final tweaks are being done as well as additinal signings but we should start seeing the little guys in action in the next coming weeks.
