Thanks, the movie is your typical boxer story where some fresh kid wants to make it to the top the league but must first fight the champ who has a sleezy and cheating fight promoter. What made this stand out was that it took place in space which is why I grew up always remembering this silly flick (I was 5 when it came out).

I know what you mean. This movie was really hard for me to find cause I never remembered what it was called and googling "Man fights aliens" was never going to have it turn up. I found this movie on netflix instant and a lightbulb went off in my head. Someone has also uploaded the whole thing to youtube but I would only recommend watching this movie either for nostalgia or for the silly alien fights.
