Undefeated light heavyweight Jon Jones has agreed to a four-fight contract with Ultimate Combat. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Perfect in 4 appearances, Jones will make his UC debute against Bushido veteran kip Johnson at UC1 "Genesis" on May 15. The 23-year-old New York-based fighter has finished all 4 of his foes by knockout.
“I’m young, undefeated and really hungry,” Jones said in a release. “I will be trouble for anyone. I’m not going to rush anything, but I know after my last fight that I’m ready to take a bigger step up in competition. Regardless, I’m always going to go out and put on a show.”
Jones last appeared at Bushido 17, when he stopped Kip Johnson with a 1st round knockout.
