Veterans and new talent promising alot were set to square off in the first event with
Japanese rules. The event fell short due contract and transportations issues all
across the board for the fighers. Was it the Holiday season that put a damaper
on the card that was the most staked to date?

Either way the Undercard fight Charles Carter vs PJ Martinez did go down and saved the card.
The New talent PJ Martinez from Chute Boxe Academey promised great things and
he delievered in spectatular fashion against another new comer Charles Carter from the Wasp Nest.

Main card TJ Crawford vs Oliver Frederickson goes down and they fight claim Fight of the night.


Main Card

Light Heavyweight Matchup
TJ Crawford vs Oliver Fedrickson
Winner: TJ Crawford wins 2nd round TKO

TJ Crawford, undefeated, remains so after a beating he put on new comer, big boy, Oliver Fedrickson.
Oliver could never escape Crawford's brutal mua tai clinch. Crawford continued to land elbow after elbow in the clinch until the 2nd round where Federickson couldn't take anymore. Crawford also displayed lethal head kicks to earn this fight, 'Fight of the Night' with the clinic he put on against poor Fedrickson.

Light Heavyweight Matchup
Charles Carter vs PJ Martinez
Winner: PJ Martinez via 1st Round Knockout

PJ came in worked his striking and his ground game early in the fight and left little
chance for Carter to mount any offense what so ever. The dominate victory could be many to come
for PJ Martinez from the CBA as he talks big but looks to be able to back it up as well.

Charles Carter will hope his next fight will go more in his favor.

Lightweight Matchup
Dan Murphy vs Dan Silkowski
Winner: No Contest

Many people were excited to see this fight go down and see what Dan Silkowski from the Silkowski brothers could do to tried and tested tough guy, Dan Murphy. Maybe next time.

Middleweight Matchup
Blake Thomas vs Brandan Silkowski
Winner: No Contest

Brandan moved up to MW for this fight against the very skilled Blake Thomas.
Silkowski was to put his undefeated record on the line. Another great fight that could've happened but didn't for unforseen issues.

Anderson Silva vs Conrad Hitman
Winner: No Contest

Anderson Silva, a fan favorite doesn't get to keep his dancing moves fresh as this fight didn't happen.
Could the debut of Conrad Hitman have stopped him?

Assuerio Nawara vs Tony Velocity
Winner: No Contest

Assuerio Nawara, another veteran and fan favorite was looking to pick up a win against new comer
Tony Velocity but that didn't pan out.

2 weeks for a bunch of excuses and no shows! Thats bullshit right there!

I knew i wouldnt get my fight in so i sat it out and didnt sign up.

Maybe it was the holidays which is understandable. Hopefully with the next card we'll get back in the groove.

I knew it was a busy time for me and unpredicatble schedule so I didn't sign up as well.. that and I would have probably lost which was another deterent to sign up...

But ya thats pretty nuts that that whole card only 1 fight went down.

I find it somewhat of concern where WF gave most fighters a christmas bonus of gloves and training equipment, where as all we got was a mop and cleaning supplies!?

No. Every card was good so far. Bushido 1 was the only one that had a bunch of no shows. Lik eI said in another thread, holidays are over so we should be getting back in the groove. Especially since new ppl are signing up daily. Oh and signups for Bushido 2 are up. I didnt see your signups. You not fighting this week?

The event lasts all week. You'll get signed up in time. The deadline is saturday so you have until then to get your fight in. The matchups should start going up tomorrow.

Sorry to sound like I was busting you balls there B33. It just sucks when things like this happen. It slows the progression of the league, but whatever, I imagine it will pick up

yeah leagues tend to slow down during the holidays same thing was going on in the OFC so hopefully we are able to pick up the fights now that the holidays are over

fair enough hoilday does get in the way but comn on 2 weeks.... i have 2 kids, training and work.....but i would have been origanized to get a fight sorted in 2weeks if i know it was 2 weeks i would have signed up cuz i could'nt do it christmas week...jokers
